I’m Aaron Kuznia and I’m running for re-election to the Hopkins City Council. I have continued to keep the progress in Hopkins at the forefront, and I would like the opportunity to remain a part of a great team of city leaders. I want to continue to keep our community moving forward with positive change.
 
Over the past few years, we have already seen some big changes in Hopkins, and will see even more change as the completion of the SWLRT through our community comes to fruition. With that, it will continue to bring a host of options in the city’s housing, infrastructure needs, business growth and opportunity. I feel that my past community involvement on City Council from 2015-2020, and recent reappointment, paired with earlier volunteer opportunities on the Park Board, and Planning & Zoning Commission, provide a sound knowledge of where we are at today.  My background in civil engineering bodes well for continued redevelopment and new opportunities of our hometown. 
 
My 30 years of experience working on municipal design, construction inspection, and construction project management have given me a sound understanding of redevelopment, and the importance of doing things right.
